OpenLearning and VO Partner to Provide Secure Verified Credentials to Learners, Universities and Businesses
OpenLearning will incorporate VO’s technology to issue secure, independently verifiable digital credentials to learners upon course completion.
OpenLearning (ASX: OLL) the AI powered learning management system has partnered with VO, an Australian verifiable credential startup, to provide learners with secure and independently verifiable digital credentials for Learner IDs and course completion certificates. This collaboration integrates VO’s advanced credentialing technology into the OpenLearning platform, adding a critical layer of trust and value to online education.
VO provides a solution to issue, verify, authenticate, and integrate credentials, empowering learners to easily and confidently prove their enrolment status and achievements in a cybersecure manner.
Seamlessly integrating with OpenLearning’s technology, VO’s solution issues learner credentials for enrolment and course completion. These credentials are cryptographically and biometrically secure and can be independently verified both in-person and online. These verifiable credentials can be showcased within learner profiles on the OpenLearning platform and can be leveraged by universities and businesses in common authentication and authorisation scenarios, improving cybersecurity and compliance outcomes.
The user-friendly VO interface allows OpenLearning administrators to easily create, customise, design, and publish credentials for each course including choosing if the credential is automatically issued and customising messaging learners see once they have been issued their credential.
OpenLearning CEO, Adam Brimo said:

“We believe that verifiable credentials are the future for verifying and authenticating skills and educational qualifications. We are thrilled to partner with OpenLearning as a leader in their field to provide this benefit to learners. They have worked hard to attain their qualification, and now they have an easy and secure way to prove that attainment, increasing their professional relevance and providing potential employers with trusted validation of their capabilities. For universities and businesses, this integration represents a step-change in cybersecurity and compliance, protecting their most precious digital assets and IP.”
